Dogs and cats are susceptible to the same kinds as diseases as humans. Unfortunately, they can’t tell you when their mouth/teeth hurt. We should not think of pet dental care as a luxury it’s part of maintain their health as is choosing good quality food, grooming and exercise.

Your animal will not experience any pain. We are scaling off plaque just like a human hygienist would do if you were the patient. We scale the surface and under the gum line. What we can’t do is take x-ray images to see tooth deterioration, remove loose teeth diagnose disease or prescribe antibiotics.

We rely on our ‘pet-whispering’ skills to establish a trusting relationship with each animal and at the same time use gentle relaxation techniques, which allow the pet to feel safe and comfortable. Even fussy pets with challenging personalities are usually very cooperative. On the rare occasion, but it does happen, some may even fall asleep. We will never restrain your pet.

Pets with oral health complications are always referred to your veterinarian for treatment.
